SURVEY OF RE-FLOATED TUG SUNSHINE STATE


Project Summary

During the relocation of a dredge's anchor barge, the assist tug SUNSHINE STATE capsized and sunk at the entrance to the Oakland
Estuary, early April 2005. The following day it was lifted up, re-floated, and towed to the Bay Ship & Yacht shipyard in Alameda, CA.

Argonautics Marine Engineering, Inc. was called in by the P&I Club for an independent survey of the tug, immediately after release of
the tug by the Coast Guard.
